This project provides for the improvement NE Old Cascade Highway between State Route 2 and the City of Skykomish city limits in the Skykomish area of King County by clearing and grubbing, grading, surfacing, planing and repaving approximately 2.8 miles of roadway, roadway excavation, paving with HMA, culvert excavation, installing precast concrete box culvert and wing walls, installing culverts, roadside embankment stabilization, constructing turnarounds, temporary bypass road and traffic signal, erosion control, planting, temporary traffic control, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Plans, these Special Provisions, the Standard Specifications, the KCRDCS, and the APWA/WSDOT Standard Plans for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction.
