Bids are required for the entire work as described in the Bid Schedule and the Specifications. The engineer's estimate is between $150,000 to $200,000 The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Specifications and Contract Documents. The general items of work include, installation of six (6) electrical vehicle charging stations and associated electrical equipment, construction of a curb ramp, reconstruction of walkway, conductors, conduits, landscaping, signing and striping, and all other items that are required by the Contract Documents. The Electric Vehicle Charging Stations will be located at the following Locations: 1. City Hall Parking Garage - 8650 California Avenue, South Gate, CA 90280 2. Police Department - 8620 California Avenue, South Gate, CA 90280 3. Public Works Corporate Yard - 4244 Santa Ana Street, South Gate, CA90280 4. Civic Center - 8680 California Avenue, South Gate, CA 90280 All Question regarding this project are to be directed to Laura Ochoa Contractor shall commence work on a date to be specified in a written Notice to Proceed from the City's Director of Public Works, and shall complete all work within Forty five (45) Working days, not including procurement time, thereafter (subject to "force majeure" delays, if any, to the extent allowed under the Contract Documents). If the work is not completed within that time, Contractor shall owe and pay to the City liquidated damages in the amount or amounts set forth in the Contract Documents.
