Renovation of a fire / police facility in Belton, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

The Belton Fire Department will receive bids for painting Station 1 and 2. Proposals should have a breakout of material and labor costs. Proposals should also have an approximate lead time for project completion. ANTICIPATED SCOPE OF SERVICES: Preparation: Cleaning and proper preparation meeting industry standards and manufacturer recommendations of all surfaces to be painted as presented. Please list in the bid your proposed method of preparation. Station 1, 223 Main Street: Interior block walls of the bay and all doors and door frames to exclude bay overhead doors. All outside paintable surfaces: all window frames, lintels, soffit, roof, doors, door frames, posts, awning, flagpole, post indicator valve, #1, garage door frames roof access ladder. Station 2, 16300 N Mullen Rd : Interior block walls of the bay and all doors and door frames to exclude bay overhead doors. All outside paintable surfaces: lintels, beam, awning, garage door frames, bollards, post. No wood is to be painted. Paint types and colors will be discussed during site visits and included on the bid. The City agrees to pay the Contractor for the completed work as follows: 100% of the contract shall be paid within thirty (30) days of completion of each section of this proposal - inspection and remediation, walk-through and acceptance by the City. The City will be the sole judge as to the sufficiency of the work performed The City reserves the right to reject portions or all of any and all bids, to waive technical defects in the bid, and to waive informalities or deficiencies therein to negotiate with any or all bidders or others for more favorable terms or prices and to award the contract to other than the bidder submitting the lowest cost bid proposal with or without negotiation and to determine which is the lowest, best, and more responsive to accept, at its option, any alternates.
