Work shall consist of the removal of trees, brush and limbs hanging over the Township right-of-way. Trees shall be trimmed to the height of sixty (60) feet over the roadway. Trimming and removal shall be to the edge of the Township right of way. All chips, brush and limbs shall be removed from the project area. The area shall be left in a clean and professional looking manner. All debris and small branches shall be removed from the project. Possibly award bids at the regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 7 p.m. for the following: Select cutting, pruning and chipping of trees and low growth (brush) on various Township roads. No pre-bid meeting will be held. The proposed bid shall include tree canopy work up to 60 high from right of way edge to right of way edge as per direction of the Roadmaster. Subcontractor is responsible for traffic control. All bids shall include at minimum one bucket truck capable of trimming to 60 with a self-feeding chipper. Certificate of insurance coverage will be required, with a $1 million per occurrence and $2 million general aggregate.
