CONTRACT R015-23 Loading, Hauling & Disposal of Dewatered Sludge at the McKeesport and George R. Sweeney Water Treatment Plants for the period September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2023. Bids can either be mailed using the above address or dropped off in the Bid Mailbox located at the entrance to the Distribution and Engineering Office Building #3. A picture of the New Stanton Campus Layout as well as the drop-off location are included with the bid specifications to provide clarification. Each proposal shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked with Contractor's name, contract number and date, and all proposals received will be opened and read at the time and place designated above. All prospective bidders must attend a mandatory viewing of the work site with an authorized representative of the Authority before submission of a bid. A representative of the Authority will be available at the Water Treatment Plant Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Contact Kevin Halaszynski to arrange an appointment for the McKeesport WTP and Chris Light to arrange an appointment for the George R. Sweeney WTP. Any bid not submitted under the above conditions will be rejected. The Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid received, to reject any bids, or to accept any bid it deems in its best interest.
