Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Marco Island, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and road / highway.

The work will consist of milling one-inch (1") of existing pavement surface (both full width and edge), installation of an asphalt leveling course and the construction of a two-inch (2") Hot Bituminous Asphalt Concrete overlay at the following locations: 1. North Barfield Drive in between North Collier Boulevard and San Marco Road (approximately 2 miles) 2. Copperfield Court and the side streets (approximately 1.45 miles) Also included are manhole and valve adjustments, temporary pavement striping, raised pavement markers and thermoplastic striping, along with the transitions with side streets. The work shall be in accordance with the current edition of the Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. Any existing surface or subsurface improvements, including, but not limited to, pavements, curbs, sidewalks, pipes, utilities, footings, structures, trees and shrubbery, not indicated in the Contract Documents to be removed or altered, shall be protected by Contractor from damage during the prosecution of the Work. Any such improvements so damaged shall be restored by Contractor to the condition equal to that existing at the time of Contractor's commencement of the Work.
