The City of Marco Island is accepting detailed proposals for the delivery of timely laboratory services related to groundwater, surface water, drinking water, wastewater, and reclaimed water quality. The proposer must be NELAP certified to provide each of the tests that are required by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP). NON-MANDATORY n/a Bid Bond n/a There are daily samples that have a 6 (six) hour hold time. Therefore, after sampling, the contractor will have 3 (three) hours to get the sample to the lab and run the test. Courier service, both during regular business hours and on an emergency basis is to be provided by the contractor. The cost of that service is to be included as part of the testing service and not as a separate fee. This is an annual contract for a 3 (three) year term with an option to renew for an additional 3 (three) years.
