Renovation of a mixed-use development in Mediapolis, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project and power facility.
BASE BID: Bid includes installation of a 1,144 kW (DC) PV solar array and balance of system components. The array will be installed on 4.5 acre area of cleared land. Balance of system components include racking, combiner boxes, inverters, wiring, overground and underground cable raceways, electrical enclosures, and mounting hardware. A 6-foot galvanized chain link fence with access gate will be erected around the array perimeter. There will be a medium voltage (2400 VAC) connection to utility and existing pump station building, including installation of utility poles and all medium voltage equipment required for functional connection. ADDITIVE ALTERNATE #1: Includes removal and stockpiling of topsoil throughout fenced area of array, placement of light duty woven geotechnical fabric, and placement of 6 inches of aggregate base inside of fenced area.
