Catawba County is accepting quotes to purchase and deliver approximately 2000 tons of gravel or stone to the Catawba County Blackburn Landfill located off Rocky Ford Road. Stone or Gravel will be stock piled or spread by contractor as needed over a six (6) month period. Catawba County employees will be responsible for grading or piling stone. The gravel or stone will be hauled as needed for use in our Landfills and contractor shall start delivery within forty-eight (48) hours of being notified by Landfill Staff. Please give quote in price per ton delivered. DO NOT ADD SALES TAX TO PRICE PER TON. Sales tax can be added to invoice. Catawba County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities as may be permitted by law. See the attached insurance requirements.; successful bidder must provide proof of insurance prior to bid award.
