This Invitation to Tender consists of the manufacture, supply, delivery, unloading/offloading, and installation of a complete Playground Equipment solution as described within the Specifications attached hereto. DELIVERY DATE AND PRICE Vendor agrees to deliver and install the Playground Equipment in its entirety--complete with all parts and accessories required for each Item at the Shipping Address detailed above. Unit Price for Items 1, 2, and 3 should include the delivery and unloading/offloading of all products and materials to the Shipping Address detailed above. Unit Price for Items 4 and 5 should include all costs including the supply of materials and labor, the delivery and unloading/offloading of materials required to complete the surfacing, and installation of the finished surfaces. Unit Price for Item 6 should include the supply of all labor and materials required to complete the full installation of all products detailed within Items 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. SUB-CONTRACTING PERMITTED Installation of items 1, 2, and 3 may be sub-contracted. Supply and installation of items 4 and 5 may be sub-contracted. As per the clause titled 'Submittals' below, interested Vendors are required to complete Items 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 as part of their bid for Contract Award consideration. All inquiries should be received seven (7) calendar days prior to the closing date; any inquiries received less than 7 calendar days prior to the closing date cannot be guaranteed a response. Please reference the tender number and closing date within your communications to ensure a prompt and accurate reply. Interested Vendors are required to bid upon ALL Items within this Invitation to Tender--Items 1 through 6 inclusive--to be considered for Contract Award. Partial bids will not be accepted. Please note the clause titled 'Sub-Contracting Permitted' above regarding installation of items 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. And sub-contracting of supply and installation of items 4 and 5. PRODUCT EVALUATION The District reserves the right to select the Vendor bid which best fulfills the District's intent for a complete Playground Structure solution based upon both objective factors (i.e. price, size, and permitted number of children able to concurrently utilize the playground) and subjective factors (i.e. design esthetic and physical layout). The lowest priced bid is not necessarily the bid which will be accepted for Contract Award. Evaluations of vendor products will only occur AFTER Tender close.
