Site work for a road / highway in Washburn, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Town of Washburn is requesting bids for 2" minus rock to be hauled and spread on Forest Road 500. The rock should be spread 20 feet wide and 2-4 inches thick, as determined during spreading based on road conditions. Please bid by the price per ton as the quantity is not fixed. The Town is also requesting bids for 3/4 inch crushed road gravel from the Highbridge Pit spread on Forest Road 500 after the rock is spread. The gravel will be spread 1.5 inches thick, 20 feet wide for approximately 12,967 feet. Please bid by the ton. The project funding is based upon a grant, the distance for the gravel may be lessened to stay within the funding available. For more information call Mike Harvey at 715-292-4505. The Town of Washburn Board of Supervisors reserve the right to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid deemed for the best interest of the Town of Washburn and waive any formalities or irregularities in bidding.
