Site work and paving for a civil project in Hawthorne, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This Local Road Improvement Project (LRIP CHI-D) project consists of replacing six 48-iinch corrugated metal pipes with steel casing pipe on CTH D, 1 mile north of CTH B. The project Items are as follows: Sawing Asphalt, Removing small pipe culverts, 48 inch Steel Casting Pipe, Subbase 8-inch, Washed Stone 1-1/2-inch, Base Aggregate Dense, Erosion Control Items, Gardening Items, Installing (provided)Geogrid. County will close the road during construction. The contractor shall be pre-qualified and certified by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to perform the work in this bid. The successful bidder will be required to comply with the Douglas County Responsible Bidder Ordinance #1.32. Douglas County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities in bidding, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the County. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the scheduled opening of the bids without the consent of the Douglas County Highway Department.
