Site work for a water / sewer project in Brewster, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids will be received by the Village of Brewster for the 2022 Waterline Replacement Project, as set forth in Bidding Documents on file and in the office of the Civil Engineers. At said time and place, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following work: Approximately 1,700 LF of 6 PVC C900/909 water mains, 608 LF of service lines, valves, hydrant and appurtenance. Bidders who submit a Bid must be a Plan Holder of record at the Issuing Office. Bids from Bidders who are not on the Plan Holders List may be returned as not being responsive. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount and form as stated in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids shall be subject to the condition that the right is reserved to hold bids for a period not longer than 60 days after date of opening and/or to award at any time during the period. State of Ohio Prevailing Wage Rates for Stark County will be applicable to this project. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Stark County, and the Village of Brewster, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, 614-644-2239. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which it deems most favorable.
