The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to select one contractor to provide all labor, equipment, and transportation required to install concrete curbing for City streets and sidewalks on an as needed basis for the Department of Public Works Operations. (Materials {concrete} will be provided by the City.) Work shall be in accordance with all specifications, terms, and conditions herein All questions and/or comments should be directed to her at this email address: jallison@suffolkva.us All questions concerning bid must be in writing and received five (5) business days prior to the bid opening. The contract shall cover the period from date of award through September 30, 2023. This contract may be renewed based on the terms and conditions at the expiration of its term at the sole discretion of the City. Automatic renewals will occur for up to four (4) additional one-year periods through September 30, 2027. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality if it is determined to be in the best interest of the City.
