Job Number: 1954-22S Estimated Budget: $25,000 to $40,000 Contract No. 1 - General Rehabilitation - Base Bid 1139 Highway 420 - Base Bid - Furnish and Install various rehabilitation materials and labor to include : Furnish & Install Six ( 6) New Vinyl Replacement Winds, Furnish & Install New Vinyl Siding, Furnish & Install New Walk In Shower Unit in Bathroom, Misc Electrical Wiring, Furnish & Install Two (2) New Exterior Doors & 1 ( One ) New Storm Doors, Remove 2 Exterior Inoperable Masonry Chimneys, Parge Exterior Basement Walls and Rout Existing Exterior Sump Pump Drain so that it is underground. Additionally, the Base Bid will also require new smoke & carbon monoxide detectors per Code as well as lead hazard remediation work items detailed in the Lead Risk Assessment & LBP Inspection Special Requirements: The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to lead certifications. St, Lawrence County is the recipient of the New York State. CDBG Grant funding. The Development Authority staff, will review all bids submitted for completeness. The Development Authority will make recommendation to the homeowner on the lowest responsible bidder. The Rehabilitation Contract will be between the Homeowner and the Contractor. MWBEs and Section 3 contractors are encouraged to apply. The contractor will ensure that to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for training and employment arising in connection with this NYS CDBG-assisted project will be extended to lower-income project area residents. Further, the contractor will, to the greatest extent feasible, utilize business concerns located in or substantially owned by residents of the project area, in the award of contracts and purchase of services and supplies. Please Note that due to the Corona Virus - All Participants Planning to attend the Pre Bid Meetings must be Covid Free, not have any Covid Symptoms nor have come into contact with anyone that has had Covid for 14 days prior to the meeting day and time. In addition, any participants at the meeting must be wear a mask and stay 6 feet apart for social distancing.
