The City of Moncton requires the services of an experienced Contractor to clean, collect and dispose of waste materials on an "as required" basis from various sites throughout the City which may be located on a City-owned property, or on private properties deemed as an "Unsightly Premise" under City of Moncton By-Law Z-819. Waste materials removed from designated sites may include, but not be limited to, such items as: - Discarded clothing
- Food waste
- Lumber / construction materials
- Camp site debris
- Furniture / appliances
- Recyclables
- General litter
- Hazardous materials, including: Propane tanks, fuel containers, sharps and drug paraphernalia, paints and other chemicals, human waste In general, service requests will be coordinated through By-Law Enforcement for the clean-up of encampments or unsightly properties located within Moncton's municipal boundaries. The Contractor's services will primarily be required during weekdays (Monday to Friday), during regular business hours (8:00am to 5:00pm, Atlantic Time). By-Law Enforcement staff will typically provide the Contractor with a list of locations requiring clean-up and waste removal on a weekly basis, which the Contractor will be expected to complete within two (2) to three (3) days' time from receipt of the list. Under EMERGENCY conditions (as determined by the City of Moncton), a crew shall be made available and be on-site WITHIN TWO (2) HOURS from the time of the service request, regardless of the time the service request was placed by the City. All emergency callouts will be PAID A MINIMUM OF FOUR (4) HOURS, regardless of the actual time spent on the job site. This is a tender notice only.
