Project Description: This is a Pierce County, WI project to provide radio tower site construction services This is a Pierce County (The County) project to replace three (3) existing telecommunications shelters. All three sites are existing Pierce County sites, located on properties owned by Pierce County. Generally, the work includes installation of reinforced concrete slabs for three (3) 12' X 24' radio equipment shelters, offload the shelters onto the concrete slabs, and commission the shelters. The feedline and waveguide will also be replaced as part of the project. The grounding systems will also need to be enhanced/modified at each site as shown in the site drawings. Shelters have been ordered and are scheduled to be ready for shipment in September 2022. A single prime contractor is desired, to perform site work including excavation, install foundations for the equipment shelters, "set" and energize the shelters, and replace the County feedline. Pierce County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Pierce County reserves the right, in its sound discretion, to accept or reject any or all bids provided in response to bid documents, regardless of conformity with the specifications, as well as to waive any errors and omissions as well as any technical failure of any bid to be fully responsive. Such discretion shall be exercised in the best interest of Pierce County and it constitutes the lowest, responsible bidder for the project in question. Bid price shall remain in effect for 90 days. Pierce County reserves the right to reduce its agree-ment with the successful bidder to a written contract and un-til such a time as said contract is executed by and between the parties, Pierce County shall not be bound to the terms of the bid in question.
