The Project (also referred to as C13-33-24) aims to clean and rehabilitate the Hamilton Low Lift Pumping Stations (LLPS) intake structures, pipelines, and connecting chambers. This Work will require commercial divers with experience in this type of work. The scope of work consists of but is not limited to the following: 1. Remove material from 1500 mm north bypass pipe. 2. Remove material from 1820 mm connection pipe. 3. Remove material from cross over chamber. 4. Remove material from intake chamber. 5. Install a stainless-steel plate to block the north bypass pipe in the north connection (cross-over) Chamber 6. North intake pipe: remove material. 7. North intake structure: clean interior and exterior surfaces. 8. Remove biofilm from exterior of north intake structure and secure the fish deterrent/ access gate. 9. South intake pipe: remove material. 10. South water intake: Removal of the anchor and masonry block. 11. South intake pipe: repair chlorine line. 12. South water intake: replace broken bar screen. 13. South water intake: reinstate maintenance hole cover. 14. South intake structure: clean interior and exterior surfaces. 15. Onshore pipes/chambers cleaned, South and North water intake pipe and intake structure: after cleaning is complete, complete ROV inspection and provide video to engineer 16. Work from platform or commercial dive vessel in Lake Ontario. 17. Finalization of permits for offshore material disposal. 18. Work required by permits and approvals. Including onshore treatment and discharge into the sewer. Offshore disposal requirements for lakebed deposition. 19. Site restoration of any work areas to their pre-existing condition.
