The awarded contractor must provide professional customer-oriented snow removal services in all stated areas/property and is expected to provide equipment, materials and labor to remove snow in performance of this agreement. Snow removal can be achieved by manual shoveling, snowplow, snow blower or chemical methods. Snow removal is expected to be performed when it occurs during weekdays, weekends, and holidays. It is the intent of the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) to place the item(s) specified on a contract effective October 1, 2022 to expire September 30, 2023 subject to the availability of funds. The quantities, if given, are an estimate based on annual usage and may vary according to use. A contract will be issued. Upon completion of this contract UNO and the successful bidder may renegotiate for contract renewal for four (4) additional periods of twelve (12) months each subject to the availability of funds. UNO reserves the right in its sole discretion, to enter into a separate agreement with any other contractor to provide a similar service to UNO at any time during this agreement. The properties are split into Three (3) zones. Each zone acts as its own contract. Contractor has the option to bid on any or all zones. The University reserves the right to award multiple zones to a single Contractor.
