Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lincoln, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Contractor shall have a total of 28 consecutive calendar days from the Beginning of Work date to achieve Final Completion of this project. Locations for pavement removal and replacement have been estimated to the greatest extent possible and were used to determine the project bid quantities. The final limits for removal and replacement will be determined in the field with coordination between the Contractor and the Project Manager. Locations for sidewalk and driveway removal and replacement have been estimated to the greatest extent possible and are not anticipated to vary greatly from the project bid quantities. The Beginning of Work shall commence on or before September 19,2022. All Work as a part of this project shall be completed on or before October 16, 2022. Final Completion is defined as all Work complete and the street, sidewalks, and driveways open to traffic. If Work is not complete and all lanes of the street/ sidewalks, and driveways are not open to traffic on or before October 16, 2022, liquidated damages shall be assessed in accordance with the Lincoln Standard Specifications until the emergency street repair is completed and all street, sidewalks, and driveways are clear and open to traffic.
