A proposal guarantee of 5% of the Bid shall be required. Minimum wage rates have been set. Performance and Payment Bond: 100% of the Contract Amount. The Right is reserved to waive any informalities and/or reject any or all proposals or accept proposals deemed most satisfactory to the Owner if it is in the public interest to do so. No proposal may be withdrawn within ninety (60) days after actual date of bid opening. Attention is called to the minimum wage rates to be paid on the work as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27G, inclusive. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of General Laws, (3rd Ed.) Chapter 30, Section 39M, inclusive as amended. Federal wage rates are also included. Bidders must pay the higher of the two wage rates.
