As of January 30, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. For W. Silver Street IDDE Abatement (Bid #23-015) which includes removal of illicit sewer service connections from existing storm drains, replacing existing storm drain, reconnecting sewer services into existing sanitary sewer main on West Silver Street. Substantial Completion: within 60 calendar days. Final Completion: within 90 calendar days. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany the Bid. A pre-Bid conference will not be held. The Project being bid is subject to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M. Prevailing wage rates as issued by Department of Labor Standards under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D inclusive, as amended, apply to this Project. removal of illicit sewer service connections from existing storm drains, replacing the existing storm drain; reconnecting sewer services into existing sanitary sewer main on West Silver Street; and all materials and equipment, services and construction inherent to the Work. Questions shall be directed to the Engineer as indicated in the Instructions to Bidders.
