Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Somerton, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project is funded with Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH). The Contractor shall comply with all applicable requirements, including the payment of Davis-Bacon wages and maintenance of certified payrolls. Proposals will then be publicly opened and read aloud. Each bid will be submitted on the Proposal Form and be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the bid. The proposed work is located within the limits of the City of Somerton, Arizona. The work consists of, but is not limited to: New 3 AC over 9 of ABC structural section. New 6 C-900 PVC Water Main. New residential service lines. New water valves, boxes and covers. New Fire Hydrants. New ADA Sidewalk Ramps. New Roll Curb, 4 Sidewalk and Valley Gutter Sections. Raise Utilities to New AC. The project shall be complete and in place within 120 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. The City of Somerton reserves the right to cancel this procurement, and/or reject and/or all bids, and/or to waive any informalities or irregularities in a bid. No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the bid opening thereof:
