Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Keystone, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Furnishing all necessary labor, tools, materials and equipment, and performing all work required to construct completely all portions of the project described as Keystone Pedestrian Bridge, Town of Keystone, South Dakota, in accordance with Plans and Specifications prepared by Interstate Engineering of Spearfish, South Dakota. The major divisions of work contemplated under this proposal is as follows: Remove existing in place structure, remove concrete abutments, remove existing sidewalk and structure excavation. Install two (2) cast-in-place reinforced concrete abutments, place town furnished pre-manufactured pedestrian bridge, sidewalk, erosion control, seeding and miscellaneous items to complete the project. Contract Time: Completion Deadline Date: April 5, 2023. The CONTRACTOR shall pay the OWNER $1,600.00 for each day or part of a day that expires after the time specified for Completion of any construction schedule until the WORK is complete. Payments to the Contractor will be made in cash, based on monthly estimates for work completed, subject to the retained percentages as specified in the Information for Bidders. All proposals will be made on the forms furnished by the Owner. Each bidder shall submit with his proposal a certified check or cashiers check, in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, and made payable to Town of Keystone, South Dakota, as a guarantee of the bidder entering into a contract for the construction of the work and furnishing of a 100% performance and a 100% payment bond. The Contractor shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, creed, color, national origin, or gender. The Contractor shall take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated, during employment, without regard to their race, creed, color, national origin, or gender.
