The City of Eagle Pass (CITY) is soliciting this request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (CSP) from General Contractors (GC) for the ICT Roofing and HVAC Improvements (RFP#2022-022). Scope of project includes improvements to an existing building including but not limited to roofing, heating, ventilating and air conditioning, and electrical of the International Center for Trade building (ICT) located at 3295 Bob Rogers Dr., Eagle Pass, TX 78852. The estimated completion date of this Project is one hundred and eighty days (180) days from the date of the issuance of the Notice to Proceed under the Contract for Work. The CITY shall select the Offeror that submits the proposal that offers the best value for the governmental entity based on: (1) the selection criteria in this request for proposal and the weighted value for those criteria in this request for proposal; and (2) its ranking evaluation. The CITY reserves the right to negotiate with all licensed individuals or companies that submit proposals in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. The following scope and approach are provided as basic guidance for responding to this RFP. The services to be provided shall include, but is not limited to, the following: a. The GC shall provide all labor, material and equipment required to complete the construction of the ICT Roofing and HVAC Improvements project, contained within the Construction Documents on or before the estimated project completion date of six (6) month(s) or one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days(s) from the issuance of the Notice to proceed under the Contract for Work. b. Perform the Work described in the Construction Documents. Respondents are instructed to carefully review the Construction Documents, which are incorporated into this RFP.
