The Kenai Peninsula Borough (KPB) hereby invites qualified firms to submit proposals for acceptance by the Borough to provide professional design services, surveying and construction contract administration services for three groups of gravel roads, (1) Parkway Ave, Sylvan Circle, Northern Lights Blvd; (2) Lisburne Ave and (3) Griffing Way, Griffing Court, Territorial Road in the Road Service Area (RSA) Capital Improvement Project (CIP). The scope of work will include developing bid documents including plans, specifications and cost estimate, and construction administration as needed to redesign the following roads into three separate bid packages: (1) Parkway Ave, Sylvan Court, Northern Lights Blvd - 1,900 LF; (2) Lisburne Ave - 3,940 LF and (3) Griffing Way, Griffing Court, Territorial Drive - 2,025 LF. All roads are gravel roads that require drainage improvements, road reconstruction due to poor subgrade or surface degradation or need widened or turnarounds constructed.
