The grass baseball/softball fields at Pod #5 at the Bamford Sports Complex are in need of major rehab due to safety issues. The fields are used to maximum capacity on a daily basis. A bid was advertised in FY22 to complete rehab on all four fields. Based on available funding, Marlin field rehab was approved and completed in FY23. This project will fund the regrading, crowning, and re-sodding of Yankee baseball/softball sports field. As of March 9, 2026, this project is included in the City's 2026-2035 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Further information regarding a design firm has not yet been established.
