For the furnishing of all labor and material for the construction of the City-wide water meter replacement project. The project is a 2-year contract to furnish and install new residential and commercial water meters, endpoints, and a fixed network collection system. Major quantities of the Work include (Work Item with Estimated Quantity: Furnish and Install 3/4-Inch Meter - 2,975 Furnish and Install 1-Inch Meter - 37 Furnish and Install 1-1/2-inch Meter - 53 Furnish and Install 2-inch Meter - 55 Furnish and Install 3-inch Meter - 4 Furnish and Install 4-inch Meter - 5 Furnish and Install 6-inch Meter - 3 Furnish and Install Radio Endpoint - 3,885 Furnish and Install Fixed Network System - 1 Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A Contractor responding to these Bidding Documents must submit to the City/Owner a signed statement under oath by an owner or officer verifying compliance with each of the minimum criteria in Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3. Bids shall be directed to the City Clerk, Gina Wolbeck, securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper, "BID FOR WATER METER REPLACEMENT." The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City.
