Site work for a water / sewer project in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This Contract is for the rehabilitation of existing twin storm sewers on Wellington Street North near the intersection with Burlington Street East. The section of storm sewers is approximately 70m from the intersection to the existing outfall to the Wellington Street slip, where the work will be within an existing easement and crosses below railway track. The work will generally involve existing column removals, roof removal and replacement, construction of roof thickening, internal sewer repairs and final restoration for impacted surfaces. The construction contract has specific scheduling requirements, which is outlined in this Special Provisions document. Preconstruction Phase: The Contractor shall ensure that all locates, soil sampling, permits and approvals have been completed prior to January 3, 2023. The Contractor shall submit all required shop drawings and/or request for information (RFIs) for review by November 25, 2022. Phase 1: All Works directly affecting the Hamilton Port Authority railway shall be completed between the dates of January 3, 2023 to March 3, 2023. Phase 2: All Works other not outlined in Phase 1 shall be completed between the dates of May 1, 2023 to June 30, 2023. Documents can be obtained at: https://hamilton.bidsandtenders.ca
