Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Georgetown, Delaware. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Sussex County Courthouse Juror Entrance Enclosure Project involves, but is not limited to, construction of a weather protected structure for approximately fifty (50) people standing at the existing exterior juror’s entrance and waiting area on the south side of the courthouse. The covered area shall provide adequate shade and ventilation in hot weather, and wind and rain protection in cold weather. A ceiling fan will circulate to promote air movement. The area will be ADA accessible. The existing ramp and steps will remain; however, new handrails and guardrails will be required. The successful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond in a sum equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities therein. The Owner may extend the time and place for the opening of the bids from that described in the advertisement, with not less than two calendar days notice by certified delivery, facsimile machine or other electronic means to those bidders receiving plans.
