City of Fleming Neon Separate sealed bids for the Waterline Improvement Project Phase 2, Contract 1 Waterlines and Contract 2 Water Storage Tank for the City of Fleming Neon. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at Fleming Neon City Hall 955 HWY 317 Neon, KY 41840. No pre-bid conference will be held. Questions should be addressed in writing to Matt Steen, Nesbitt Engineering Inc., msteen@nei-ky.com. before November 29, 2022 at 5:00 pm EST. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit his bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. These include Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. Further, Title VI Minority bidders are encouraged to bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Completion Date: Bidder must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" of the Owner and to fully complete- the project within 180 consecutive calendar days thereafter. Bidder must agree also to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $ 750 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as hereinafter provided in the General Conditions.
