This project involves the construction of a new press box. The work items include but are not limited to: connecting to existing utilities, site preparation, excavation, building construction, and cleanup in accordance with the construction plans and specifications. A safe work environment must be maintained while providing public access to local facilities. Progress for this work can begin immediately after signing the contract and must be completed no later than May 1,2023.Substantial Completion of the project shall occur no later than May 1, 2023. Bidders shall be licensed with the State of Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CUB) prior to Bidding on this Contract and each Bid must contain the Bidder's C B Registration Number. Failure to comply with this requirement shall result in bid rejection. The DISTRICT may reject any Bid not in compliance with al prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and reserves the right to reject for good cause any or all bids in whole or in part upon the finding of The DISTRICT that it is ni the best interest to do so, to waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights, and to postpone the award of the work as necessary for a period of time not to extend beyond thirty (30 days from the Bid Opening date. Bid prices quoted shall remain firm for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of Bid Opening.
