As of March 5, 2024, the project is expected to be rebid in May, 2024, however, a rebid date has not been confirmed. Bid security must be provided at the time of bid submission in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price made payable to Borough of Mifflinburg in the form of a certified or bank check or a bid bond issued by an accepted surety and executed by the bidder. Surety companies executing bonds must be listed in the U.S. Treasury Department Circular 570, as currently amended, and be authorized to be in business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Question Deadline 02/08/2024 at 4:00 PM ET Inquiries related to this solicitation shall be submitted via the "Questions" feature within PennBid. Estimated Contract Value $300,000 Borough of Mifflinburg reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities The Contract involves the replacement of water mains along 10th Street (1,475LF) and all associated appurtenances. For Contract No. 22-01, Bids will be based on a unit prices. A Pre-Bid Conference to discuss the Contract will not be held. The Work in Contract No. 22-01 is to be substantially completed within 90 days from the specified date. A Pre Bid Conference to discuss the Contract will not be held.
