MCER Track Rehabilitation Install up to 15,000 wood railroad ties in active freight rail track; remove replaced ties and dispose; install 40 switch timbers; install up to 4,000 l.f. of replacement rail; rehabilitate 14 private railroad crossings; install up to 10,000 tons of new stone ballast; surface, line and tamp up to 130,000 track feet of mainline track; furnish and install 20,000 new tie plates; furnish and install 12,000 joint bolt assemblies; replace one undergrade bridge deck. Contractor must show evidence of having worked on an active railroad on a project of equal or greater value and was able to complete the work with no impacts to railroad operations.
