The Oregon Department of Corrections is seeking bids for HVAC assessment and design services. The Oregon Department of Corrections ("Owner") conducted a survey in August 2021 of cooling system adequacy ("Survey") for occupied spaces at the twelve (12) prison locations throughout Oregon ("Institutions"). Detailed background information for each location is provided in the completed Survey, Survey Summary Report, Facility Condition Assessment Reports, and historical drawings including mechanical as-constructed documents, as available. Owner is seeking a consultant to review the background information and further investigate cooling system needs at each Institution, provide recommendations for appropriate system upgrades, and design documents with conceptual schematics (the "Project"). Additional details on the scope of the Services are included in the Scope of Work section of this RFP. The estimated cost of this Project is between $1,800,000 and $2,000,000. The estimated time period to complete this Project is 6 months.
