The Scope of Work includes but is not limited to renovation and redevelopment of approximately 13,000 sq ft of floor area on the lower level of Robert Sutherland Hall that was extensively damaged by a major flood incident on October 16, 2021. The lower level has been gutted back to the studs with only a small number of original elements remaining. The major electrical equipment has been replaced but all other building components remain as is from the insurance clean up and abatement exercise. The intent of the project is to reinstate the space of the departments that occupied the space prior to the flood. The renovation consists of office space, a large classroom, breakout group rooms, kitchen and lounge, boardroom, washrooms, and a workshop.
