Completion Date: Sept. 30, 2023 Pre-Qualification: Yes Description: Project involves replacement of approximately 48 sanitary sewer laterals, including but not limited to: lateral relay of approximately 2,480 L.F. of 6-inch sanitary laterals, lateral pipe bursting of approximately 1,650 L.F. of 6-inch sanitary laterals, pavement and lawn restoration, and erosion control. Additional Description: This Work is funded in whole or in part by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District's Private Property Infiltration and Inflow Program. Awarded Contractor must be an MMSD approved Contractor. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of City of Muskego and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The City of Muskego reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. Partial sets of Bidding Documents are not available. Neither Owner, Engineer nor Issuing Office is responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including any Addenda, obtained from other sources. The cost of Bidding Documents is non-refundable. Each entity obtaining Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office will be designated as a Plan Holder of Record. Bids received from entities who are not Plan Holders of Record may be returned as being nonresponsive. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to City of Muskego at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to City of Muskego equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to City of Muskego as liquidated damages.
