This project is to help the Oran White Civic Center receive a facelift - something that has not happened in decades. The Civic Center will need to go through renovations to make it more modern, technological and accessible for those that will be visiting our facilities in the coming years. The City would like to see the Civic Center become a place where the entire community can hold club meetings, City Council meetings and recreational activities. The goals of this project include: - Remove all paneling - Repair by taping and floating existing sheet rock under paneling or replace. - Paint the entire interior and exterior of building. Sand and paint kitchen cabinets. - Add new granite countertops - Add new hardware to cabinets - Install new vinyl wood plank for the entire civic center floor. - Install stone or brick, three feet high along front of Civic Center only and wainscot. - Add wood base board floor trim - Add new vanities and mirrors and hardware in both bathrooms and paint the bathrooms. - A city ordinance requires a dumpster on site to remove trash and debris on exterior around the building. - Replace all bad drop ceiling panels in Civic Center - approximately 40 12. Any additional cosmetic work to bring building up to standard of expectations.
