Renovation of an office development in Davenport, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a office development.
For the following: Improvements of the existing Scott Area Recycling Center Building and Site, 5640 Carey Avenue, Davenport, Iowa 52807 The Automated Sorting - MEPT scope of services includes mechanical, electrical, and telecommunications improvements to support new automated sorting equipment operations and renovation of existing office space and tool room to a maintenance room. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified check equivalent to 5% of the amount of bid, payable to the order of the Waste Commission of Scott County, as security that the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid upon and will furnish after the award of contract a corporate surety bond, acceptable to the governing body, for the faithful performance of the contract. This sum shall be forfeited in case the bidder fails to enter into the contract within fifteen days after the contract has been awarded. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid after the time for opening bids has passed. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive or not waive any informalities in the Bids received and to accept any proposal which is deemed most favorable to the interests of the Owner. Bids received after the posted time will not be opened. Some delivery services may not make the 1:00 p.m. due time. Bidders are responsible for any delays or fault of the delivery service used.
