Site work and renovation of a civil project in Bruce, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. Location Well #1 & E River Avenue Bruce, Wl 54819 Well #3 & W River Ave Bruce, Wl 54819 The project will be bid as one contract and the following work items shall be completed under that contract. River Avenue Street Reconstruction Work will consist of: pulverizing existing asphalt surface to a depth of 6"; salvage and stockpile pulverized asphalt base material; replace existing sanitary sewer main & manhole(s), replacement of existing sanitary services; replacement and extension of existing watermains and services; installation of a 6" water transmission main; upgrade existing storm sewer system; excavation; supply and placing of 1-1/4" base aggregate dense base; 3/4 " base aggregate dense sidewalk and concrete drive way base; installation of concrete curb & gutter; installation of concrete sidewalks and drive ways; pave road surface with 3-1/2" of asphalt; pave asphalt private entrances with 2" of asphalt; and site restoration. Water Treatment Plant Work shall consist of: construction of a building addition to the existing Well House #1; electrical; installation of an iron and manganese water treatment system; connecting piping; and installation of a backwash disposal/containment system; and chemical treatment of both wells. The portions of the streets being reconstructed shall be closed to through traffic during construction; each property within the project limits shall have access each evening and on weekends; all businesses shall have access throughout the project
