Request for Bids #1 - Concrete Slab Insulation The Village is requesting bids for insulating board and moisture barrier, with a minimum R value of 10 and a compression strength of 25 psi for a 40ft x 80ft area. The moisture barrier shall be a minimum of 6 millimeters and will sit between gravel at grade and bottom of insulating board. Proposed work to follow standard specifications listed in Village Code as well as all Wisconsin Building Codes. The preferred completion date is June 30th, 2025. Request for Bids #2 - Concrete Slab and Insulation The Village is requesting bids for a 40ft x 80ft concrete slab for purposes of a future solid waste building. Proposed work to follow standard specifications listed in Village Code as well as all Wisconsin Building Codes. The preferred completion date is June 30th, 2025. Request for Bids #3 - Concrete Apron The Village is requesting bids for a 40ft x 15ft concrete apron. The Village desires at least a 5" thickness. Such quotes should include any necessary grading to accept slab. Proposed work to follow standard specifications listed in Village Code as well as all Wisconsin Building Codes. The bidding shall be based on sealed competitive bids and the contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder per Wis. Stat. 62.15. Each bid must be in a sealed envelope and must be plainly marked on the outside as "2025 Concrete Slab and Insulation Quote" and the envelope should bear on the outside the name of the CONTRACTOR, address, and license number if applicable. The Village of Bruce reserves the right to reject any bids, waive informalities, and accept any bid it deems advantageous to the Village.
