No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bid bonds must be issued by a surety licensed to do business in Massachusetts. Bidders shall provide descriptions of at minimum three (3) projects of similar size, scope, and complexity including references. The Contractor shall provide references for their five (5) most recently completely projects and descriptions of each project. This information shall be provided in the Bid Form (Appendix 004100B). A minimum of three (3) project descriptions and references shall be provided for subcontractors to be used in completion of the work. A Performance Bond, and a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price (including the price of any and all alternates), and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder, with such bonds and insurance to be issued by sureties and insurers, respectively, that are licensed to do business in Massachusetts and satisfactory to the Owner.
