Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Project Scope: Work includes the construction of concrete sidewalks, driveways, wheelchair ramps, a bike pad and thermoplastic pavement markings at various locations within the City of Springfield. City Bond Funding, CDBG Funding, ARPA Funding, Shared Streets Funding And Uber Funding. Bidding procedures are per Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L.) Chapter 30 section 39M. The conditions of employment and wage rates, as set forth by the Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety and Davis Bacon Wages shall prevail in the execution of the work under this contract. Estimated total cost of the base bid in the project: $1.66 million. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, HWY-SIDEWALK & CURBING, for the project with an estimated value of $1.66 Million Dollars will be required. All questions regarding bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement no later than March 1, 2023 by 4:00 P.M.
