Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a civil project in Hayfield Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Work for Contract is generally described to include installation of six corrugated steel pipe culverts, reconstruction and rock lining of an existing approximately 670-foot roadside channel, and other miscellaneous drainage improvements. A certified check or bank draft, payable to Hayfield Township, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to 10% of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The Contractor must abide by all laws and regulations applicable to state funded public contracts, including but not limited to equal employment opportunity. Pennsylvania prevailing wages will apply. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
