Site work and paving for a civil project in Lewes, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The improvements consist of furnishing all labor and materials for the project scope including the extension of the SR 1 southbound U-turn Lane approaching Old Landing Road and removal of one of two SR 1 northbound left-turn lanes approaching Rehoboth Mall Boulevard. The project also includes reconstruction of the concrete median, storm drains, and ITMS as well as the addition of a CCTV camera at the SR 1 intersection with Rehoboth Mall Boulevard. Follow other incidental construction in accordance with the location, notes and details shown on the plans, and as directed by the Engineer SURETY BOND - Each proposal must be accompanied by a deposit of either surety bond or security for a sum equal to at least 10% of the amount bid. COMPLETION TIME: All work on this contract must be complete within 79 Calendar Days. Extensions of contract time due to weather are specified in the Standard Specifications Section 108.7F, weather days. It is estimated a Notice to Proceed is issued such that work starts on or about May 8, 2023.
