The scope of work being considered is: 1. Demolition of existing Airport Beacon; 2. Installation of new Airport Beacon on a new tower/tip-down pole; and 3. Electrical trenching from existing Electrical Vault to new Airport Beacon. This contract will be funded, in part, by a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration. As such, it will be subject to federal requirements. Notice to Proceed for Phase 1 is anticipated in August or September 2023, at the convenience of the Owner. Notice to Proceed for Phase 2 is anticipated in Summer 2024, at the convenience of the Owner A 15 calendar day period is allowed over two phases for all contractor work associated with the project. Work in Phase 1 shall be completed in 10 continuous calendar days. Work in Phase 2 shall be completed in 5 continuous calendar days. Contract time will be paused between the completion of Phase 1 work to the start of Phase 2 work.
