Due to permitting requirements, if alternate brands are proposed bidder must include paperwork for item with the bid submitted. ALL AMOUNTS ARE MORE OR LESS o Sodium Permanganate, 6 drums o Dense Soda Ash, 18 tons o Liquid Chlorine, 10 cylinders o Carus 8100 Ortho/Polyphosphate Blend, 10 - 30 gallons drums or approved equal* o Carus 8500 Ortho/Polyphosphate Blend, 10 - 30-gallon drums or approved equal* o Poly Aluminum Chloride, 25 - 55-gallon drums o Sodium Hypo-Chlorite 15% CL/VOL, 10 - 55-gallon drums o Magnesium Hydroxide Wet 60% - 35 - 275 gallon totes o KC - 138 Polyacrylamide Emulsion (Polymer), 20 - 55-gallon drums Bid Forms and specifications for this bid will be supplied by the Borough office for those interested in submitting a bid for the Chemicals. All bidders are required to conform to the bid specifications. Chemicals shall be delivered on the dates and times and in the quantities requested and maybe ordered individually. Chemicals are to be delivered within 3 working days of placing an order. All suppliers shall provide all the necessary unloading equipment for their products: including any necessary pumps for off-loading magnesium hydroxide to Wastewater storage tank. Chemicals for the Water Filtration Plant, Germantown Control Building and/or Sewer Plant shall not be delivered by tractor-trailer due to narrow roads and bridges. All trucks must have a lift gate for all chemicals delivered. Deliveries to the Water Filtration Plant and Sewer Plant shall be during regular working hours, which are from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, except Borough holidays. Bids are to include delivery charges. Successful bidder shall be required to provide the following items prior to the first delivery: -SDS Safety Data Sheets pertaining to the Chemicals delivered -Certificate of analysis for each chemical delivered for the Water & Sewer Plants -All water chemicals MUST have NSF/ANSI standard 60 approval The Borough of Jim Thorpe reserves the rights to reject or award any and/or all bids, in whole or in part, in the best interest to the Borough.
