Q And A Open14/03/2023 8:31:00 PM Q And A Close30/03/2023 3:30:00 AM This project includes replacing curb and gutter with combined curb & gutter (type varies) without damaging the existing adjacent and/or abutting sidewalks or drive approaches. A contingency quantity has been included for the replacement of 6 inch concrete transitions between back of new curb and the existing driveway approach, on an as needed basis. The city wide locations are identified on the attached aerial location maps. All bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid (including alternates), made payable to the City of Topeka, Kansas. Contract Time. 3.1. The Work will commence with an issuance of a Work Order by the Owner on May 4, 2023, provided the Contractor complies with the required submittal times for the executed Agreement and its counterparts, and be substantially completed on or before July 13, 2023, and completed and ready for final completion and payment in accordance with paragraph 14.13 of the General Conditions on or before July 20, 2023. previously completed projects within 90 calendar days
