Renovation of an educational facility in Bangor, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Bangor Area School District will receive sealed bids for the repairs to the Bangor Area School District Maintenance Building located at 187 Five Points Richmond Road. Work includes Roof & Masonry Contractor work. All bidders must register on penn bid prior to the pre-bid meeting. Once registered as a bidder an email with a virtual meeting link will be forwarded after the registration cutoff date on march 24, 2023 and prior to the pre-bid meeting The apparent low bidder and the next two lowest bidders must submit, to the Architect, originals of the Bidding Documents within two (2) business days from the date of the bid opening. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 4/14/2023 5:00 PM Questions will be accepted until 5:00 P.M., prevailing time, on Friday, April 14, 2023; questions will be accepted through electronically, only from prime bidders. All questions must be submitted through electronically and will not be accepted in any other manner. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid. Performance Bond and a Labor Material and Payment Bond will be required from the lowest responsible bidders. This project is subject to the provisions of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
