Site work for a water / sewer project in Center Point, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Contract A includes a storm water wetland and consists of excavation, grading, and storm sewer installation The project is separated into three contracts, A, B, and C. The project is broken into five divisions Contract A will include only Division 1 The successful bidder will be required to furnish a construction performance, payment, and maintenance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Said bonds to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City Council and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and the maintenance of said improvements in good repair from the time of acceptance of the improvements by the City for not less than two (2) years. Liquidated Damages in the amount of $600.00 per Calendar Day will be assessed for each Calendar Day that any work shall remain uncompleted beyond the specified completion date allowed.
